ABOUT THE PRE-SEASON FRIENDLIES
I've been in contact with some Auckland players, and they've offered to play a few "unofficial" friendlies with us.
I've paired up everyone with either a similar PC member or a similar Auckland player, and before the start of each friendly each person in each pair will be randomly allocated to one of the teams. Just to reiterate that, it's not one side verses the other, you'll have a different team in each of the matches. This will allow us to work with everyone, and not just ten other people if we were split into two teams.
If Dan signs up/when we draft players our final three/four players, they can just replace an Auckland player who has a similar role to them.
The matches will be 35 overs which is what the real PCNL one-day competition will be, and I'll just sim them until the real matches start. The first match will hopefully be tomorrow (NZ time), and we'll probably play one match a day after that.
Here's what the match-ups are, obviously the only person you won't be able to be on the same team as is the person you're paired with.

8. The Rock™ vs Kyle Mills (Bowling all-rounders)
9. CG123 vs Roneel Hira (Spin bowlers)
10. tarun87 vs Daryl Tuffey (Pace bowlers)
11. riz7khan12 vs Haarithan (Pace bowlers)
Martin Guptill, Lou Vincent and Andre Adams were all unavailable due to English county commitments, and Chris Martin didn't feel like playing.
